Edmonton Employers most optimistic in Canada

Employers in Edmonton are the most likely to hire new staff over the next few months according to a survey done by a global human resources firm. The high number of employers who are planning on hiring in Edmonton resulted in what the surveyor called a spike in the survey. City Leads Country in New Jobs

Anthony Henday opening up roads for Edmontonians

The opening of the Anthony Henday has affected many Edmontonians daily commutes. This week Edmontonstories received a great note on how pleased Emily is with what an enjoyable ride the Anthony Henday is now. Emily decided to write in and let us know what a positive affect this has had on her life as a daily commuter within Edmonton. She notes that living in more recently built housing on the west side of Anthony Henday it is quite apparent how much this city is expanding. "I am a student at Grant MacEwan as well and I can tell you homework and exams are much easier to deal with than my daily drive half way across the city. It is utterly amazing how Anthony Henday has changed this 20-30 minute drive to a mere 15 with little traffic, no stops, and a wonderfully newly surfaced road. Thank you so much for this enormous project that was undertaken, to all those who had a part in it, and the timely completion! It has made a significant impact on my life." Continue…
