We are the 99,000 skilled and dedicated health professionals and support staff, 16,000 volunteers and 7,675 physicians who promote wellness and provide care every day to 3.7 million Albertans.
Programs and services are provided through 400 facilities throughout the province, including hospitals, clinics, continuing care, mental health and community health facilities. Edmonton metropolitan houses eight acute care sites and numerous programs and services. Partnerships with educational institutions foster unique research opportunities in medicine and health sciences placing AHS at the forefront of innovation.
