What modes of public transportation are available to Edmontonians and visitors?

Edmonton’s comprehensive transit system (ETS) can help you get around most of Edmonton. In addition to a fleet of over 900 buses, the Light Rail Transit (LRT) system currently connects the northeast part of the city through the downtown to the University of Alberta and then on to the south side. ETS opened 2 more LRT stations in Edmonton’s south side on April 24, 2010. More expansion plans are in the works over the next few years.

Aside from the LRT, we have reliable and inexpensive taxi services to get you where you need to go.
