In Dave Mowat's opinion, it's really easy to get used to the blue sky in Edmonton. When ATB Financial hired him in 2007, it was an opportunity to come home to, in his own words, "probably the most welcoming community I’ve lived in." Edmonton's compact business community gives Dave the chance to regularly share ideas with talented business people, and he sees Edmonton as becoming a more and more interesting place in future.

Dave Mowat is the President and CEO of ATB Financial, the largest Alberta-based financial institution. Dave was born in Alberta and grew up in Sherwood Park. After working in British Columbia as CEO of VanCity, he was happy to return to his home province. When he gets the chance, Dave enjoys walking his dog in the beautiful river valley.
