Mini Donut Madness

By Matthew Dringenberg

Edmonton is such a beautiful city with so much going on. I was very excited when I found out there was a chance for me to go out with my video camera and film all the aspects of Edmonton and then share it with other people. I feel that most of my story is told through the lens and that my spoken word just adds that little bit to it.

I love summertime in Edmonton and all the different festivals that are happening around the city. My best memories of the city are when I was young and being so excited to go to Klondike Days and experience one of the biggest festivals going on in the city. As I grew up, I started to partake in the arts culture that is really starting to take shape in Edmonton. I love going to the Fringe, Nextfest, and the Street Performers festival and watching what all that local artists have to offer.

I hope to be able to start my own video production business in Edmonton and contribute to a city that is always expanding and changing. Everywhere you look, this city is growing. Not only do I hope that Edmonton will have an impact on me, but I also hope that I can leave my mark on the city and make it a better place than it already is today.
