Red Light, Green Light

Shelley grew up in Calgary, and remembers coming to Edmonton for the weekend as a child. In the video below, she recalls a funny story about being a kid and preparing for the Edmonton traffic light experience.

The video was shot downtown in Sir Winston Churchill Square where the International Street Performers Festival takes place each year. Shelley's favourite Edmonton moment is volunteering as a stage manager for the first time at the International Street Performers Festival in 1989. The experience hooked her. She hasn't missed a festival since (for those of you who are counting, that's 21 years), and experiences the thrill of the festival every year in July.
