When Sandy moved to Edmonton from Vancouver last September, she got to know her neighbourhood by walking her dog to discover where she lived. She has joined several clubs to get to know people and has explored the city with these new friends. “It's companionship and discovering the city at the same time. We have a lot of fun.”

Sandy moved to Edmonton with her husband, Dave Mowat, CEO of ATB Financial. Aside from exploring the city with new friends, she's on the board of directors for the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton.
